Counselling and Psychotherapy in Truro, Cornwall
I offer counselling and psychotherapy preferably in person, occasionally online.
I am an experienced counsellor and psychotherapist registered with the BACP (British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy). After working in London, I have moved my practice to Truro where I see clients from Truro, Redruth, Falmouth and across Cornwall.
Psychotherapy and counselling is one of the hardest yet most rewarding things you can do. Often we find ourselves repeating destructive patterns of behaviour, being angry with those closest to us or feeling misunderstood. Psychotherapy can help us understand why this is happening, so that we can change things and make life more manageable.
When more help is needed than family or friends can provide, psychotherapy offers a safe and supportive place to explore things that trouble you and which affects your life and relationships. It enables you to open up so that together we can understand your problems, which often have their roots in the past and allow you to resove issues and conflicts and make lasting changes.
It is important to find a psychotherapist you can trust, so you can talk openly how you feel. Our first session will give you the time and space to decide if we can work together. If you would like to continue we would meet at a regular time each week for 50 minutes.
As a psychotherapist, problems I can help with include:
